|Gulf Coast Motorcycle Training, Inc.||
Registration Our website has changed from gcmti.com to flgcmti.com
We allow you to use your motorcycle if you like. We have to know in advance.
To register for either the Basic Rider Course (BRC) or the Experienced Rider Course (ERC) or BRC 2, you must meet the following eligibility requirements:
You may use your own motorcycle or ours. The fee is the same. If you use yours it has to be trailered to the location unless you already have a motorcycle endorsement. It also has to pass a inspection to make sure it is safe to use in the program. You also have to show proof of insurance on the motorcycle and if you borrowed it, proof of insurance and a letter from the owner to GCMT stating that they are aware it will be used in the program for training and that we are not responsible for any damages to the motorcycle at all even if someone else causes the damage or a injury,
You must be able to ride a two-wheeled bicycle. It is suggested that you have been riding a bicycle recently and not many years ago. Only you know what your capabilities are. If it has been a while we suggest you get back to riding your bicycle for a while before you take the class for this can help you with balancing the motorcycle tremendously and it helps you to become more at ease as you learn the techniques that are taught in the class.
This is a pre-requisite for enrollment in the BRC. Remember we are not there to teach you how to balance 2 wheels but to coach you on different techniques and tactics for safety and proper riding.
You are required to execute a "Release, Waiver and Indemnification" form.
This form must be provided prior to participating in either of the courses. This release is included on the registration application and can be downloaded on this page. Students under the age of 18 are required to have a parent or guardian sign the waiver form on the first day of class.
Reserve your spot in a class with a pre-paid advance registration.
Classes are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis, rain or shine.
Riding a motorcycle requires that you be able to apply gradual pressure to the handlebar controls. Any condition which prevents you from gradually applying pressure to the handlebar controls can make it dangerous for you to learn. Please be aware of your physical limitations.
Before registering for a course at GCMT, please consider your physical condition and consider the appropriate time of year for you to take the course. It gets very hot during the summer months and sometimes very cold during the winter.
We ride in hot or cold weather, so please register during the time of year that is appropriate for your level of physical conditioning.
You may register by telephone with a Credit Card, money order, cashiers check or personal check if personal check is received at school three days before your scheduled class. We also accept cash. . If you use a credit card there will be a $8.00 charge added to your fee for credit card processing. If you cancel out of the class there is a $25.00 dollar cancellation fee. Remember we still have to pay for the charges.
This will keep you from having to send anything through the mail. Otherwise, please forward a complete registration and waiver of liability with a check payable to or a Visa or Mastercard number to Gulf Coast Motorcycle Training, Inc. It should be mailed to 2993 Holmes Valley Road, Vernon, FL 32462. Upon receipt of your pre-paid application, you will be contacted by telephone and/or email to confirm your class date. After class dates are confirmed, fees are non-refundable. In the event that you are unable to attend your scheduled class, you must notify us before the first day of your class to re-schedule. The registration application can be downloaded below. If you reschedule the class and cannot be there you must notify us before the day of the class to reschedule or you will have forfeited the fee and will have to repay to get into a later class. Remember you took a spot in the class that someone else could have had. We need the time before the day of the class to put another student into the class.
We accept credit cards, money order or cashier check. A personal check can only be used if the school receives the personal check 3 days before the your class so it can clear the bank. We also accept cash in advance.
In addition to checks, We accept Visa, Master Card, Discovery and American Express.
